Arugam Bay named Asia’s most attractive beach in 2026 survey
Sri Lanka’s Arugam Bay has been named as Asia’s most attractive beach in the latest survey published by Condé Nast Traveller Readers for 2026.
According to the survey, Arugam Bay topped the list, with its reputation as one of the world’s most renowned surfing destinations cited as a key factor contributing to its appeal.
Three other beaches in Sri Lanka have also been ranked among Asia’s 20 most attractive beaches in the survey.
Accordingly, Bentota Beach secured ninth place, while Tangalle Beach was ranked fourteenth and Negombo Beach nineteenth.
