Litro Gas Lanka Limited says LP gas cylinder distribution across the island is expected to return to normal from this evening (19).
The company stated that the ‘FRANCOIS’ vessel, carrying 3,900 metric tons of LP gas, has arrived in Sri Lanka.
Arrangements have been made to unload the gas cargo, the company added.
Litro Gas Lanka further stated that, with regular supplies of gas arriving in the country, distribution will be accelerated to ensure a continuous and normal supply to the market.
Meanwhile, the company said yesterday (18) that 350,000 domestic gas cylinders had been released to the market between October 16 and 18.
