Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has proposed the government of establishing a special task force to protect Sri Lanka’s tuskers following the death of the tusker ‘Kavanthissa’.
He made this proposal while speaking in Parliament today (20).
He further cited countries such as Kenya, where special task forces have been established to protect their prominent tuskers.
