A special meeting was held between Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha, and Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, K.D. Lalkantha.

During the meeting, the two parties held comprehensive discussions on political matters, innovations in the agricultural sector, and current geopolitical developments at the international level.

Attention was also given to several areas of mutual interest and cooperation between Sri Lanka and India.
