Sri Lanka and China discuss expanding Buddhist and cultural cooperation
A meeting was held between Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka H.E. Wei Huaxiang and Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Hiniduma Sunil Senevi to discuss strengthening ties between the two countries.
According to the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, the discussions focused on expanding Buddhist and cultural exchanges and enhancing cooperation between Sri Lanka and China. The two sides held extensive and in-depth discussions on these areas.
Ji Lili, Counsellor for Cultural and Educational Affairs at the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, also attended the meeting.
