Sri Lanka’s pace spearhead Dilshan Madushanka delivered a devastating bowling performance to dismiss Pakistan for just 110 in 25.3 overs in the fifth ODI of the Pakistan ODI Tri-Series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Madushanka claimed five wickets for 34 runs in 8.3 overs, dismantling Pakistan’s batting line-up and putting Sri Lanka in a strong position to chase a modest target of 111 runs.
Pakistan struggled to build momentum against Sri Lanka’s disciplined bowling attack, losing wickets at regular intervals. Experienced batter Babar Azam top-scored with 29 off 33 deliveries but received little support from the rest of the batting order.
Madushanka led the attack with his five-wicket haul, while Asitha Fernando also contributed with the ball, taking one wicket for 34 runs in six overs.
Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first.
