Two persons killed in separate three-wheeler accidents

One person was killed after a three-wheeler veered off the road and crashed into a tree on the Polgahawela-Kegalle road, police stated.

 

The three-wheeler driver was critically injured in the accident and was rushed to the Kegalle hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

 

The victim was a 49 year old resident of Adurapota, Kegalle, police reported.

 

Meanwhile, another three-wheeler crashed into a tree on the Narammala-Kuliyapitiya road following which one person died and three others were injured.

 

The victim was the 84-year old father of the trishaw driver.
