Sri Lanka Navy have arrested 32 Indian fishermen for crossing the international maritime boundary line and poaching in Sri Lankan waters.
Navy spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya stated that the Indians along with their 8 trawlers were intercepted in northern seas off the Delft Island last night.
The arrest came even as fishermen from both countries prepare to hold a second round of talks in Colombo later this month.
