A person was arrested by Customs at the Katunayake airport with two gold biscuits weighing 188g hidden in his rectum worth Rs.940,000.
The suspect is a 47 year old resident of Samanthurai and was boarding a 1.35pm flight UL153 to Chennai, India.
Customs officers were suspicious about the suspect’s behaviour and had inspected him.
The suspect has been fined Rs.50,000.
