The Ella-Wallawaya road has been temporarily closed until further notice, the Disaster Management Centre said. The road was blocked due to an earth slip at the 12thmile post and vehicular movement disrupted from today morning.
Due to the continuing rains there is a danger of further landslides and the road was closed as a precautionary move, the DMC said.
