VIDEO: Training aircraft lands safely after wheel falls off

A Cessna 152 private training aircraft which had uncounted a snag in its landing gear, when one of the wheels fell off midair, has landed safely at Ratmalana airport, an official said.
The wheel of the light aircraft, belonging to a pilot training school in Ratmalana, had detached and fallen on to the Southern Expressway in the Millaniya area, Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) said.
However, the police spokesman’s office said that it had not harmed any person or damaged any vehicles traveling on the expressway.
