Police bust large-scale heroin racket, 3 held

The Central Anti-Vice Striking Force in Walana, Panadura arrested 3 suspected drug dealers along with 160 packets of heroin after uncovering information regarding a large scale heroin racket operating in the Modaravila area in Panadura.

Acting on information received, the officers of the unit arrested the suspects in a raid and seized 3,380 miligrams of heroin assorted in 160 packets.

The suspects, between the ages 28-35 and residents of Modaravila in Panadura, have been handed over to the Panadura (South) Police Station for onward action.
