55-year old found dead in Balangoda

The police have initiated an investigation in connection with a body recovered in Konglla in Balangoda area, this morning.

 

The body was recovered as the residence of the area alerted the Balangoda police regarding the incident, the Police Media Unit said.

 

The deceased has been identified as a 55-year-old person who was a resident of Mulgama.

 

The body is currently kept at the Balangoda hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
