Three persons have died while another four have been hospitalised after consuming illicit liquor at a vegetable cultivation in the Ethimale area, police said.
All seven individuals were admitted to the Sirigala Hospital, Monaragala in critical condition, however three of them had passed away shortly after.
Ethimale Police are investigating the incident.
