A 26-year-old youth has been shot and killed in the Wattahena Junction area in Pitigala, police said.
The victim’s body was discovered according to information received by Pitigala Police. He has been identified as a resident of the area.
The motive for the murder is yet to be ascertained while Pitigala Police are conducting further investigations.
