More Ministers take oath

One Cabinet Minister, one State Minister, and four more Deputy Ministers were sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisena, at the President Secretariat Office, this afternoon.

Parliamentarian Abdel Halim Mohamed took oath as Minister of Posts and Muslim Affairs, while parliamentarian Hasan Ali took oath as State Minister for Ministry of Health.

Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake took oath as Deputy Minister of Social Services,Welfare & Livestock. Wasantha Aluwihare MP took oath as Deputy Minister of Mahaweli Development & Environment. Amir Ali Sahabdeen MP took oath as Deputy Minister of Housing & Samurdhi.

President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed 28 Cabinet Ministers, 11 State ministers and ten Deputy Ministers, thus far.
