Mangala starts China tour

Foreign minister Mangala Samaraweera left for a two day visit to China in a bid to strengthen relations, an official said here on Wednesday.

“The expectation of this visit is to strengthen relations,” Policy Planning and Economic Affairs Deputy Minister Harsha de Silva said. 

President Maithripala Sirisena is to visit China in March, official added.
