Justice Chandra Ekanayake sworn-in as the acting CJ

Supreme Court Judge Chandra Ekanayake was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice before President Maithripala Sirisena this morning (June 8) at Presidential Secretariat. 


Secretary to the President P.B. Abeykoon was also present in the occasion.


Ekanayake is a sitting judge of the Supreme Court and since 2012 is a non-resident Justice of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Fiji as well.
