26 Indian fishermen arrested

Sri Lanka Navy arrested 26 Indian fishermen along with three fishing trawlers poaching in Sri Lankan waters in the seas North of Point Pedro, an official said.
The arrested fishermen and trawlers were brought to Kankasathurai harbour and will be handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Kankasanthurai today (21).
