With the announcing of the General Election to be held on August 17, it has been reported that certain changes are likely to be made to the timetable of the 2015 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination, which was scheduled to be held in the same month.
It was previously decided by the Examinations Department that the Advanced Level examination would commence on August 04 and continue until 28 August.
The General English exam was slated to be held on August 17, the date of the parliamentary election as declared in the gazette notification signed by the President yesterday (26).
As the schools in the country are predominantly used for election related activities, it is most likely that a change could occur in the 2015 A/L timetable, a spokesman for the Exams Department said.
However, the Commissioner of Election is yet to announce a final decision on the matter.
