The Department of Examinations today announced that the dates for the 2015 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination have been revised due to the General Election being held on August 17.
The exams are to be held under two phases with the 1st phase conducted from August 04 to 13 and the 2nd phase from August 24 to September 08, 2015.
It had been previously decided by the Examinations Department that the Advanced Level examination would commence on August 04 and continue until 28 August.
However, with the announcing of parliamentary polls on the same month as the exams, changes were expected to be made to the A/L timetable as the schools in the country are predominantly used for election related activities such as polling and counting centers.
The General English exam was slated to be held on August 17, the date of the parliamentary election.
