Body found near Diyawanna Oya

The body of a man, who had died under suspicious circumstances, has been found in Diyawanna Oya in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, the police said. 

The police added that they found the body at around 8 a.m. on Monday after receiving a tip.

“Investigators don’t know how long the body had been at the site. It was sent to the hospital to determine the cause of death,” a police officer said.
