UPFA election manifesto presented to Maithripala

The election manifesto of the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA), for the 2015 General Election, was presented to President Maithripala Sirisena this morning by a group of party leaders.

 

 

 

Leader of the Mahajana Eksath Peramuna (MEP) Dinesh Gunawardena, UPFA General Secretary Susil Premajayantha and SLFP General Secretary Anura Priyadarshana Yapa were present on the occasion.  

 

 

 

The manifesto was presented to the President at his official residence in Colombo.

 

 

 

The launching of the manifesto is currently underway at Henry Pedris Ground in Colombo with the participation of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and other UPFA candidates contesting the August 17 parliamentary polls.

 

 

 

The UPFA election manifesto includes several relief measures a future UPFA led government would grant the public and the measures that would be taken to develop the country among others.
