Landslide warning for three districts

With the prevailing weather condition, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has issued landslide warning for three districts.
The land slide warnings have been issued to Kegalle, Ratnapura, and Nuwara-Eliya districts, the DMC says.
Meanwhile the Met. Department forecasts prevailing intense thundershowers will relatively reduce today.
However, showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Northern, Eastern and Southern provinces.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
