Traffic jam from Borella to Maradana road

Severe traffic congestion has been reported from Borella to Maradana road due to a demonstration by a group of people, the police said.
The police have requested motorists to use alternative routes.
The demonstration has been staged by employees attached to the Agalawatta Plantation PLC, it was reported.
More than 1000 workers are protesting outside the office of the Agalawatta Plantation, saying they are owed thousands of rupees in unpaid wages, according to the Ada Derana reporter.
