Trains on coastal line delayed

Trains on Coastal line from Colombo Fort terminated at the Kalutara railway station due to a derailment between  Payagala and Beruwala railway stations, the Sri Lanka Railways (SLR) says.


Therefore, all four night mail trains from Colombo Fort have been limited to Kalutara railway station, however, ticket money will be refunded, the SLR added.


The SLR said that efforts are underway to resume normal services swiftly.
