Jayantha Dharmadasa submits nominations for SLC

Jayantha Dharmadasa has submitted nomination for the post of President Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) a short while ago.

 

Dharmadasa headed the SLC interim committee from 2005–2007 and also served as the President of the cricket board from 2013-2015. 

 

Meanwhile former SLC secretary Nishantha Ranatunga, Deputy Speaker of Parliament and former cricket board chairman Thilanga Sumathipala and Sumith Perera have also submitted nominations to contest for the post of President of SLC. 

 

World Cup winning former Sri Lankan captain Minister Arjuna Ranatunga has submitted nominations for the post of Vice President.

 

The SLC election is scheduled to be held on January 03 while today is the closing date for submitting nominations.
