President Sirisena leaves for Italy

President Maithripala Sirisena left for Italy today (Dec 13) for a two-day official visit, during which he will meet with Pope Francis and a host of other leaders.
The scheduled meeting for bilateral discussions will be their second since Sirisena was elected as President.
Pope Francis visited Sri Lanka in January during a six-day tour of Asia.
