Seven persons including three women were injured and hospitalized following a wasp attack in Nawalapitiya, the police said.
The victims were near the Nawalapitiya railway station when they were attacked by a swarm of wasps, police added.
They were admitted to the Nawalapitiya Hospital for further treatments.
