Sri Lankan Naval personnel allegedly chased away some fishermen from India while they were fishing near Katchatheevu today, the PTI reported.
The naval personnel also allegedly damaged more than 30 fishing nets of the fishermen, who had put out to sea along with several others yesterday, they said.
Katchatheevu is an islet ceded by India to Sri Lanka in the 1970s.
