Two ‘treasure hunters’ arrested in Girandurukotte

Two persons, who had allegedly engaged in an illegal excavation in Girandurukotte, have been arrested by the police, Ada Derana reporter said.
The suspects were arrested in Galpothuyaya area in Girandurukotte, early hours of this morning. Several equipment used for the illegal excavation have also been seized from the possession of the alleged treasure hunters.
The police said the suspects will be produced before the Magistrate tomorrow (29).
