Two schools closed in Mihintale after elephant goes on rampage

Two schools in Ukkulankulama in Mihintale have been temporary closed after a wild elephant went on an hours-long rampage in the area, Ada Derana reporter said.


The wild life officials are attempting to drive away the wild jumbo in to the forest, reporter added.


The schools were temporary closed as a precautionary measure, however it will be re-opened tomorrow.
