Coast Guard personnel have detained four Indian fishermen and also seized a boat after they had strayed into Sri Lankan waters.
The fishermen were detained with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Navy while they were poaching off Karainagar Island, which is located 20 km from Jaffna.
The detained fishermen were later on, handed over to the KKS Fisheries Department officials.
