Four charred bodies found inside home in Dehiwala

The charred bodies of four individuals including two children who are suspected to have died as a result of electrocution have been discovered at a residence in Kawdana Road, Dehiwala.
The bodies of three females and a male, believed to be from the same family, were discovered inside the residence, the police spokesman’s office said.
Dehiwala Police received information regarding the bodies at around 10.00am this morning.
Police suspect that they may have died as a result of electrocution, however further investigations are being carried out.
UPDATE: Meanwhile it has been uncovered that the deceased are originally residents of Weligama and that they include the father (65), mother (52), daughter (13) and a relative’s daughter (13).
