Motorcyclist killed in Padukka crash

An individual was killed and another was injured after a motorbike they were traveling in collided with a bus near Padukka town along the Padukka – Godagama road, the police said. The accident occurred on Saturday (23) at around 10.00 p.m.
The police have identified the deceased as a 19-year old who was a resident of Padukka.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Homagama Base hospital’s mortuary pending autopsy. The bus driver was taken into custody following the incident.
