Enjoining order against appointments made to Gampaha District Cricket Association

The Colombo District Court has issued an enjoining order preventing certain officials allegedly unlawfully appointed to fill positions within the Gampaha District Cricket Association from functioning.
The enjoining order was issued effective for two weeks until June 24 following an application filed by the Chairman of the Gampaha District cricket committee’s executive board and other officials.
The case was filed challenging the appointment of the officials to fill the positions following an election held at Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
