Met. Department predicts showers during next few days

Showery and windy conditions are expected to be continued over South-west part of the country and surrounding sea areas during next few days, the Met. Department predicted.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western provinces. Fairly heavy falls (more than 75mm) can be expected at some places.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places elsewhere.
Strong winds at times can be expected over the southern half of the island, particularly over the western slopes of the central hills and Southern province.
