The Convenor of the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF), Lahiru Weerasekara, who was arrested for violating a court order, has been remanded till next Friday (July 15).
The defendant was produced before Colombo Fort magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today.
He was arrested today by Fort Police on charges of violating a court order during a recent protest march staged in Colombo, organized by the IUSF.
