Army soldier arrested for drunk and disorderly behavior

An army soldier has been arrested for drunk and disorderly behavior by the Karuwalagaswewa Police. 

 

The arrest was made last night following a complaint received through the police emergency hotline (119) by residents of 10th Mile Post in Karuwalagaswewa.

 

The arrested soldier, who is attached to the Point Pedro army camp, has been submitted for a medical test carried out by the judicial medical officer of the Puttalam Hospital.

 

He will be produced at the Puttalam District Court while Karuwalagaswewa Police is conducting further investigations.
