Two burglars arrested in Jaffna with gold

Following a days-long investigation, the Jaffna police have apprehended two burglars approximately one kilogram of gold in their possession last evening, an official said.


The investigation was launched after several burglaries were reported in the area within last few weeks.


The arrested suspects have been identified as residents of Kopai and Jaffna, the officer added. 


They will be produced before the Magistrate today.
