
The report of the Committee to Investigate Public Enterprises (COPE) for the first quarter of the year presented to the Parliament today (09).
The report contains findings and recommendations on 19 public enterprises, it was reported.
Chairman of the committee MP Sunil Handunetti said the COPE report regarding the bond issue would be presented to Parliament within the next few weeks.
While addressing reports, Handunetti pointed out that the report will be an open document for the public as well, since it had already been submitted to the house.
He also went on to say the public can make queries about the recommendations and facts on the report and as well as eligible to take legal actions against respondents.
