Indian coast guard ship arrives in Colombo

Indian Coast Guard Ship Samarth has arrived at the Port of Colombo on a goodwill visit today (18).
The ship was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions on her arrival.
The Commanding Officer of the ship Captain Anand Prakash Badola called on the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Jayantha De Silva at the Western Naval Command Headquarters in Colombo and held cordial discussions.
Mementos were also exchanged to signify the occasion. Samarth is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka on 20th August, the Navy said in a statement.
