Bandula to resign as SLFP organizer to Homagama electorate

UPFA MP Bandula Gunawardena says that he will resign as the organizer of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) for Homagama electorate.

 


The announcement was made while he was speaking at an event held in Homaama , a short while ago on Sunday (21).

 


Gunawardena added his letter of resignation will be submitted to the President tomorrow (22).

 


UPFA strongman MP Dullas Alahapperuma also resigned from the Matara District SLFP leadership post earlier. The former minister stated that he decided to resign from the position in wake of the party’s treatment towards senior members of the SLFP.
