Businessman goes missing in Trincomalee with Rs.10 million

A police investigation is underway to find the whereabouts of a businessman who had gone missing in Trincomalee, police said.
Businessman identified as Muhammad Nasrin had cash of Rs. 10 million in his possession and had attended a gold auction of a state bank, it was reported.
The police investigation was launched following a complaint lodged by the victim’s father on Monday.
According to the father, the businessman had stayed at a hotel in Kanthale before the day of his disappearance.
