Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe predicts that the debt burden of the country will significantly be reduced by 2020.

The The observation was made while speaking at the 70th Convention of the United National Party held in Borella this afternoon (10).

Prime Minister Wickremesinghe also went on to say that this would be the ideal time to develop the country under the rule of the coalition Government of the UNP and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP).

“As we mark the 70th anniversary, the UNP is not just a political party,” he added.
