An employee of the Uva Vidya Vidyalaya in Hali-Ela, who was injured due to a fire in the school store room, succumbed to injuries after being admitted to hospital, Police told Ada Derana a short while ago.
Fire fighters are currently attempting to douse the fire, Ada Derana reporter said.
The deceased has been identified as a 33-year-old individual who was the warden of the hostel.
