More students to be enrolled to universities this year - UGC Chairman

Some 27,603 students will be enrolled to the universities this year, Chairman of the University Grants Commission Prof. Mohan de Silva says.


The observation was made at a press conference held in Colombo this morning (20).


He added that this is a 10% increase compared to last year.


University entrance cut-off marks for the 2015 Advanced Level examination will also be released today.
