A pile of buried National Identity cards have been found from a land in Nugasewana area in Ambalantota, Ada Derana reporter said.
The stock which was inside several polythene bags were discovered by a backhoe operator this afternoon.
Around 1050 ID cards have been found and they have been handed over to the Ambalantota police for further investigation.
