Compensation for deceased and disabled migrant workers

Compensations will be granted for 39 families of deceased and disabled migrant workers next week in Colombo, the Government announced today.

 


Accordingly, approximately Rs. 68 million in compensation and other dues will be granted in cheques to these families by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera and Minister of Foreign Employment Thalatha Athukorale on Tuesday at the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
 

 

Recipients of awards will be present with their family members.
