Seven SSPs promoted to DIG

Seven Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG), the Police Headquarters said today.

 

The promotions have been made by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujitha Jayasundara as per the instructions of the National Police Commission. 

 

Accordingly the following SSPs have been promoted to DIG effective from December 08:

 

K.N.J. Wadisingha, S.B. Ratnayake, C.A. Premashantha, L.K.J.G.S. Peiris, K.P.M. Gunaratne, L.H.K.W.K. Silva and A.H.M.W.C.K. Alahakoon.
